Civil and Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Due to retirement we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Litigation Solicitor to join our team.
The role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual who is a minimum 5 years PQE to deal with both civil and commercial litigation matters with a particular emphasis on Contentious Probate.
This role provides a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact on the department, with excellent career progression.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation cases, including contentious probate matters.
- Responsible for effectively and efficiently managing your own caseload.
- Contribute to business development within the team.
- Assist in building and developing the department.
- Ensure adherence to professional regulations, implement industry best practices
- Respond to client queries, build strong relationships
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
The Candidate
- Minimum 5 PQE in a Litigation Role
- A good understanding of the Inheritance act
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
- Experience of dealing with clients from the outset
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
- Ability to work in a busy team

Experienced Commercial Property Lawyer

Due to retirement we are looking for an experienced, motivated and technically strong commercial property lawyer to lead and grow the department.
Your responsibilities will include managing all types of commercial property transactions, including buying and selling commercial property, landlord and tenant matters, commercial lending, and bespoke commercial property agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversea the commercial property department, making decisions and driving the firm's vision
- Ensure adherence to professional regulations, implement industry best practices
- Respond to client queries, build strong relationships
- Provide tailored legal advice to clients
- Develop and grow the commercial property and expand the client base
- Handle all aspects of commercial property work, including drafting sale contracts, commercial leases, legal charges, overage agreements, collaboration agreements, and promotion agreements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development efforts
- Provide expert conveyancing advice to clients throughout the transaction process
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and other property related documents
- Reviewing searches and Land Registry applications
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with experience handling commercial property matters with a minimum of five years PQE
- Experience in managing a range of commercial property transactions
- Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise, and manage a varied caseload
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage and progress a caseload while providing pragmatic advice.

Legal Secretary
We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our existing team in Bury. With a high level of personal presentation you will have previous legal secretarial experience.
The role will be based in our Bury office. Duties will include providing full secretarial support, audio-typing, arranging appointments, filing, photocopying, faxing and other general administration.
