Due to continued growth we are looking to expand our team. We have outstanding opportunities for ambitious and experienced solicitors to join our established team in Bury.

To assist in the expansion of an already experienced and busy team headed by a Partner we are looking to fill the following roles:

  • Private Client Solicitor
  • Residential Property Solicitor

Private Client Solicitor

To assist in the expansion of an already experienced and busy team headed by a Partner we are looking for a Private client lawyer with 2 years plus PQE, STEP/SFE qualification desirable but not essential. 

Responsibilities 

You will be handling a broad base of probate and private client work, including:

  • Will drafting
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Estate planning
  • Administration of estates of varying degrees of complexity
  • Trusts
  • Advising on tax and capacity issues

Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

Experienced conveyancing solicitor familiar with all aspects of traditional residential conveyancing with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential property matters

Responsibilities

  • Freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Registered and unregistered property
  • New build properties
  • Shared ownership
  • Buy to let property sales and purchases
  • Right to buy scheme
  • Gifts of property
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of property

The Candidate

We require someone who:-

  • is able to manage their own varied caseload
  • is able to explain complex matters in language that is understood by all
  • maintains regular contact with clients and ensures regular updates are provided within agreed timeframe
  • is highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines
  • is professional, self-motivated and client focused
  • is able to work well as part of a team as well as on own initiative
  • has a flexible approach and is able to work under pressure
  • has excellent time management and organisational skills
  • is personable and professional
  • has a desire for developing professionally
