Civil and Commercial Litigation Solicitor
About the job
Due to retirement, we are looking for an ambitious Litigation Solicitor to join our team.
The role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual to deal with both civil and property litigation matters.
This role provides a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact on the department, with excellent career progression whilst having the benefit of working with two very experienced solicitors in the team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of civil, property (and occasional insolvency) litigation cases, including general litigation, landlord and tenant and possession proceedings.
- Responsible for effectively and efficiently managing your own caseload, with supervision where necessary.
- Assisting other members of the team.
- Contribute to business development within the team.
- Assist in building and developing the department.
- Ensure adherence to professional regulations, implement industry best practices
- Respond to client queries, build strong relationships
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
The Candidate
- Newly qualified to 2 years PQE in a Litigation Role
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Strong legal skills with an eye for detail
- Experience of dealing with clients from the outset
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
- Ability to work in a busy team
